English Movie Association (EMA) was founded in 2006.EMA commits to building a better English learning atmosphere for teachers andstudents. English Movie Association consists of four departments: PublicRelations Department, Projection Department, Publicity Department and OrganizationDepartment. Each department does its own job and cooperates with each otherwell. Every member shoulders his or her responsibility to make our associationbetter.
EMA not only plays English movies, but also gives youa chance to practice English, gain an insightful understanding of life.Meanwhile, it can help you learn western culture and improve your pronunciationin a pleasant atmosphere. Since the establishment of the association, we playmovies every Friday and Saturday at 17:30 in Teaching Building, Room 1209. Throughoutthe academic year, more than 70 movies had been projected and thousands ofpeople went to watch the movies. Popular movies, such as Flipped, The Terminal,The Skeleton key, Leon: The Professional are included. Besides enjoyingmovies, students may also participate in various kinds of activities, such as ForeignMovie Dubbing Contest, English Short Movie Contest and so on. English MovieAssociation becomes one of the most popular associations in our institute.
